I'm only going off of my own personal experiences talking about these few things. (And I'm not specifically talking about ONLY dA here.) So take it with as many grains of salt as you can.
I've recently been asked questions like "How do I get people to see my work?", "Why am I not receiving commission inquiries?", "Why isn't anyone following my work?", "What can I do to get better?". Often, and I answered it before, the answer is as simple as this:
Create.
Create, as in, DRAW. PAINT. RENDER. SCULPT. You have to do develop a tolerance (or the obvious definition: LOVE) for creating if you want exposur

You can ask for me to start sketching out your drawing on paper to later scan and add in the digital inks and colors, leaving you with not only the finished drawing, but also a one-of-a-kind preliminary sketch of what you asked for sent via snail mail. Just give me a heads-up ahead of time to do this if you want an original copy of the sketch, as by default I do everything digitally, including the rough sketch work. (example:  )------------------------------------------------------------------- Comics Full-page comics: $30-50 per page, double the price if colored. A 5-12 panel comic page to tell a story. Can be negotiable depending on the complexity of what's asked, number of characters, backgrounds, script, etc. (example: [link] ) Simple comics: $20-30 per page. A 3-4 panel comic to tell a joke.
