still somehow managing to hang on with just barely one bar of wifi...
I dunno if I mentioned this to anyone, but I've had a Facebook and Twitter account for the longest while if anyone's remotely interested.
Facebook I migrated to from Myspace since that site's popularity died down drastically...Facebook for some reason feels like it's Twitter, but with more to do, so I've been finding myself periodically updating it with any tidbits going on that I feel is too trivial to post as a full journal entry on here.
Twitter...not sure what to make of it, it seems like "Facebook Lite" or something, unless I'm missing something and there's more to it than that *shrug*
either way, my screenname is practically the same as anywhere else: SorcererLance
[link]I also got to see Transformers earlier today...after missing two phenomenal movies (according to practically everyone I know) Up and Star Trek, I felt as though I had to watch at least one decent movie this year.
All I can say is, it was alright.
Not bad, but not great...I felt it deserved the 3/5 star rating. The characters Skids and Mudflap I came in expecting to hate (like Scrappy Doo or Jar Jar Binks), but they ended up being amusing characters...There's a better robot to human ratio that felt more evened out...
My main complaint is the movie felt waaaaaaaay too confusing...I'm not a film student, but there were a lot of shots I felt could've used work or further editing. There was just TOO many cutting shots that made the action feel more confusing than exciting...there was a shot with Shia and that whore, Megan Fox that had the damn camera rotating around them over and over and OVER and I felt dizzy.....And I felt the story could've used more work instead of just relying on fanservice introducing Devestator and the useless "Arcee Team"...Though they did Soundwave justice modernizing him (though sans the cool retro voice modulator).
I could live with the overuse of slow motion effects and the ridiculous explosion count, it's Micheal Bay.
In other news, after a freakin' week, I feel like I finally have my inspiration to do art now, so hopefully I'll get something worth posting soonish.

To be honest, the comic's climax was issues 124-125 when every single character, friend and foe, banded together to fight off the Xorda, the evil alien race bent on destroying Mobius that was revealed to be Earth in the far future. They had every single artist at the time doing a chapter which I thought was epic.
The comics gradually went downhill a little before 150 when it felt like the original writer ran out of good story ideas...eventually, the latest writer ~ianpotto really picked up the series and made it interesting again. While I miss a lot of the old artists like =JayAxer among plenty of others, ~Yardley's style really grows on you. So yeah, I really feel like the comics have been getting good story-wise, even more so with Sonic Universe expanding on the world and the story even further.
and yes, I have issue 200, been collecting the comics since issue 0 (16 years?) and I really think I should start subscribing.
for more info on some more tidbits of the comics, I suggest going here: [link]
They're also reselling older issues in graphic novel form called Sonic Archives and Sonic Select to help you get caught up with the comics...though the earlier issues had mostly cheesy comedy you expect with Archie.
Wish I could do ANY comedy...
Anyhow; the question at long last:
Do you like where the comic is going now?
I was hooked the last few issues to see who exactly Snivley's little friend on Facebook for Villains was; until I saw that last page in the latest issue and I'm all 'Oh, Fuck; HER again.' *Facepalm*

It's kinda reminiscent to the final episode of the SatAM show when Snively came out after Robotnik's defeat saying it's "his turn" and that he's "not alone" and we see a pair of glowing eyes (that was later revealed to be Naugus). If anything, it brings some interesting possibilities to the story right now.
Interesting tidbit...she originally was designed to be a badger in her first appearance, but since she looked so human-like, she was redesigned to look more human.
No way!
... God, I wish with all the mythos, those guys at Team Sonic made a Game with that. :/
What a waste.

If anything, they can do what they did with Spyro or Jak and Daxter, having the main character mature, have more serious plotlines and have a more interesting character roster...but a man can dream really...
