Christmas Chronicles Revelations 2

Part 2 of the comic... truth be told, I think writing the dialog was more fun than drawing the characters being drunk.

Translation for those who need it:

Panel 1 - So tell me, Vix... Why do you gotta hijack Christmas from us? You know the real reason for the season.

Panel 2 - I get that a lot... People ask me and I ask myself "why're you so mad?" I've been around since like, the late 19th century... and people get mad? Over Christmas? A happy holiday?

Panel 3 - It's because you stole our holiday!

Panel 4 - No. Here's some history: A long, long time ago... it was a Pagan holiday. A time when people get happy to forget how bleak and miserable the harsh winters can be. Problem was, some people didn't like that and tried to ban it, but they kept on celebrating. So to compromise, the church made it an official holiday.

Panel 5 - But... I was told it was our savior's birthday...?

Panel 6 - It doesn't matter what reason it is you celebrate Christmas. As long as you're not a jerk about it and be all "holier than thou"... everybody can enjoy the holidays and be happy regardless who they are and what they believe.
